Elysium Theatre Company Presents:
Long Day’s Journey Into Night
By Eugene O’Neill
Directed By Jake Murray
70th Anniversary Production
With Dan Bradford, Edmund Dehn, Macy Stasiak and Danny Solomon
“The past is the present, isn’t it? It’s the future too. We all try to lie our way out of that but life won’t let us.”
Summer 1912: the Tyrones gather in the family home on the coast of New England. After years of separation they are reunited again, full of hope for the future. But as day passes into night their love will be tested to the utmost as the ghosts of the past come to haunt them and they all are drawn back into a past they hoped to escape.
Award-winning Elysium Theatre Company return to the PAA after our sold-out production of 'Othello' with a once in a lifetime chance to see on of the world's greatest plays, performed in Yarm for the first time.
“This company can do no wrong.” – Reviewer Number 9
