Information

An evening with two of England cricket’s most famous characters and Captains Graham Gooch and Mike Gatting.

The statistics speak for themselves, as two of England's greatest batsman Graham Gooch and Mike Gatting played a combined total of 197 Test Matches, scoring over 13,300 runs.

Graham Gooch was one of the most prolific run makers top-flight cricket has ever seen. After he retired in 1997, the statistician Robert Brooke calculated that Graham had scored 22,211 runs in List A cricket which, added to his 44,846 first-class runs, put him ahead of the great Jack Hobbs.

Mike Gatting was a total natural, a point recognised by the England selectors when they sent him on tour as a 20-year-old, in 1977-78. But it would take seven more years, and 54 Test innings, before Mike made his first century with 136 in Bombay, an innings of such guts and determination that the British press broke its rule and applauded.

Graham and Mike will take a nostalgic look back on their illustrious careers with numerous anecdotes from on and off the field of play; not to mention their opinions on the current state of English Cricket and the game in general.

There is also an exclusive VIP package available for £49 which includes a reserved seat in the front three rows, meeting Graham and Mike prior to the main show for up to one hour, receiving a very special limited edition signed print plus an opportunity to have a photograph taken with these two Cricket legends. VIP session starts at 7pm

The Princess Alexandra Auditorium will be open from 7pm with the main event starting at 8pm.  At the half time tea interval there will be a raffle with some great prizes up for grabs.  On the night there is also the chance to ask Graham and Mike questions and to purchase some fantastic sporting memorabilia. It should be noted that the VIP session commences at 7pm.

With only a limited number of tickets available and toavoid disappointment it’s important to book now for what promises to be a fantastic night of entertainment for all sport enthusiasts.
