Programme includes Nocturnes, Mazurkas, Waltzes, Preludes, Berceuse, 

and Liszt-Horowitz Funérailles (homage to Chopin)

 

Janusz Piotrowicz – conductor and pianist, International Chopin Competition Prizewinner, –

is a visionary musician of mesmerising insight whose performances are renowned for clarity and intensity and unique depth of sound.

 

Janusz has toured in Denmark, Italy, Spain, Poland, Russia, Canada, the USA, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Southern Africa, and throughout the UK, receiving the highest critical acclaim.

 

Janusz is Founder and Conductor of L’Orchestre du Monde and Artistic Director of Ripon International Festival, now in its 21st year. The charity he founded, The World Trust, has given over 50 donations in 40 countries as a result of his concerts around the world.

 

The proceeds of this concert will be shared between The World Trust and Humanitarian Aid Relief Trust, a charity founded by Baroness Cox that provides aid and advocacy for victims of persecution and oppression in conflicts.
