There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Fly
The 50th Anniversary Production!
Written by Steven Lee

There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed A Fly. I don’t know why she swallowed a fly…
But The People’s Theatre Company do!

And now you can too as they bring the world’s best loved nonsense rhyme to life with a
delicious blend of live action, puppetry and animation.

It’s the perfect treat for everyone aged 3 to 103!

The songs in the show including If You're Happy and You know It, Incy Wincy Spider and
many more are available to sing along to on The People's Theatre Company's website at https://ptc.org.uk/ptc_shows/there-was-an-old-lady-who-swallowed-a-fly/ so have a listen now and then join in when you come to the performance.

A great introduction to the theatre with just the right balance of sitting listening and taking part ★★★★★ – Bristol Guide
Thoroughly entertaining and brilliant fun. ★★★★★ – Patricia Goodwin, What's on Stage
A lovely take on the nursery rhyme with lots of interaction. A truly magical 60 minutes. – ★★★★★ Andrea Murphy

Accessibility for shows
If you or someone in your party require wheelchair access, then you must contact the box office prior to booking, as we allocate Stalls Right Row AA for this. You won’t be able to book online yourself as we have to unblock if any are available.
Sadly, once this is full we aren’t able to allocate anymore, so early booking is advisable.
Please note for wheelchair access we will only allocate the wheelchair user and another person in this row. If your party is larger than two, then you will be required to purchase tickets elsewhere in the auditorium or as close to this area where possible.
The team at the box office will work with anyone on an individual basis for limited mobility seating as everyone’s needs vary, just give us a call and we can help
